    From the nearest airport, you can get to Hotel Hortus by:Train from Schiphol Airport to Central Station Approx 15 minutes and then you can take tram 14 from central Station to the Artis Zoo stop.

    Rooms are available from 15:00pm. If you arrive early at the the hotel, bags may be left in our storage area.

    Yes there are towels and linen in the room.

  • Is there a lift in the hotel?

    No, there is no lift in the hotel. All rooms are accessible by stairs only. The hotel staff do not carry bags upstairs.

  • Do you have 24 hour access to the hotel?

    Yes. Upon check in you will receive a key to the front door.

  • Is there 24 hour reception?

    Reception is closed between 23:00pm and 08:00am.




  • Does the single, twin/double , & Quad room with shower mean a private toilet also?

    No, the room has a shower and the toilet in the hallway, If you want a private toilet you have to book a twin room with shower and toilet.
